What distinguishes Elciego is not its duration, 83 seconds shared with two other municipalities, but a climate jump that happens within four kilometres. Its historical share of clear days for this date, 38.2 per cent, is eleven points above Baños de Ebro's 27.4 per cent, 4.4 kilometres away, and above the 27.3 per cent of Villabuena or Navaridas. Only Lapuebla de Labarca, 4.7 kilometres in the other direction, beats it with 39.7 per cent.

The two that break away are the two closest to the Ebro and the two lowest, at 457 and 441 metres against the 491 and 505 of their northern neighbours.
