Cookie policy

What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser to remember information. Similar technologies (such as localStorage) serve a similar purpose and are subject to the same regulations.
What this site uses today
This site does NOT set its own tracking cookies. It uses localStorage — technically not a cookie, but governed by the same regulations — strictly for technical/functional purposes, to remember your preferences within the map app (compared points, expert mode, active layers). It is never used for advertising or analytics, and it never leaves your browser.
Future cookies (advertising, Google AdSense)
Once Google AdSense is activated, third-party cookies necessary to show and measure ads — and, if you accept, to personalize them — will be installed. This section will be expanded with the full list of cookies (name, purpose, duration, controller) at that time, together with a consent management platform (CMP) where you can accept, reject, or configure each category.
Managing cookies from your browser
Regardless of the consent platform, you can block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). Blocking certain cookies may affect how parts of the site or its ads work.
Updates
This page will be updated whenever the cookies actually used by the site change.
