What to expect

I read every message. I reply to the ones I can, in English or Spanish, usually within a few days and sometimes longer when the week is busy. There is no promised turnaround, because promising one would be a lie: this is a personal project, not a service with a support agreement.

Two kinds of message always jump the queue: a figure that is wrong, and a bug that stops the site working. Either one affects everybody who arrives afterwards, so they get looked at first.

If you found a figure that is wrong

Include the municipality or its INE code, the exact number you are seeing, and what you are comparing it against. If you have the source at hand (the IGN table, an ephemeris, a measurement of your own), cite it: it halves the work and avoids arguing about who is right before anyone knows what each source actually says.

If the correction stands, the data changes, the change is measured and it gets written up. The methodology page documents previous corrections along with their impact, and for this project that is not a short list.

If something on the site is broken

The exact page address, the browser and the device are usually enough. A screenshot helps a great deal when the problem is the 3D map or the sky viewer, since both depend on the graphics card and the browser and do not fail the same way everywhere.

Reusing the data and the maps

Third-party data combined here still belongs to its authors and keeps its own licences and attribution requirements, credited in the footer of every page. The original text, code and visualisations belong to the site owner; to reproduce them, write in. Full terms are in the legal notice.

What there is not

There is no contact form. This site is static and has no backend of its own to receive anything: a form that submits nowhere would be worse than no form at all. For the same reason there are no accounts, no sign-up, no newsletter and nowhere to leave personal data.

Emailing the address below is the only route, and that is deliberate.
