Munébrega led all of Aragon and came fifth in Spain on 84.4 points, tied nationally with Estellencs, in Mallorca. The gap to the other four leading Zaragoza municipalities was a single tenth, and it came from the climate column: 56.5% of the summers measured since 1996 reached that date with an open sky, and 28.4% mean cloud cover, the lowest of any entry in this group. Totality, 103 seconds from 20:29:38 to 20:31:21, was the same as its neighbours'.

At 794 metres it was also the highest and the easternmost of the five, which in this district brings no automatic advantage: its horizon clearance of 5.3 degrees was the second tightest of the group, almost a full degree below Alhama de Aragón and Contamina. With the Sun barely six degrees up at maximum, that difference counted for more than the elevation of the village itself. Once totality was over the Sun hung on for another 38 minutes and 43 seconds, setting at 21:10:04 with the partial phase still under way.
