The August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Cerdido (A Coruña)

What best explains this corner of Galicia, though, is the short comparison: 5.3 kilometres away, Moeche dropped to 97 seconds, and As Somozas, 10.2 kilometres off, also stopped at 97. Three seconds lost for every five kilometres southward mark where the axis of the band ran. The trade-off is meteorological: 11.7 per cent clear days during the eclipse window, 61.2 per cent mean cloud cover and 51.5 per cent on the precipitation indicator, all of it a thirty-year average for this date and not a description of that particular dusk. The total phase ran from 20:26:56 to 20:28:36.
