The August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Fuentelmonge (Soria)

Only two of the 183 municipalities Soria placed under the shadow had better sky statistics than Fuentelmonge. And 5.7 degrees of horizon clearance is the tightest reading among the five Soria municipalities at the top of the table: with the Sun 7 degrees up at maximum, any hill to the west-northwest ate a noticeable share of that reserve. Six kilometres away lies Monteagudo de las Vicarias, and the climate model assigns the two almost identical cloud, rain and temperature figures. All of it is a thirty-year average: nobody knows how that 12 August dawned.
