The August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Villaselán (León)

Villaselan and Gradefes lie twenty-two kilometres apart and their entries are almost indistinguishable: 107 seconds of totality for both, 874 and 958 metres of altitude, 47.6% and 47.4% of clear days. That duplication is no coincidence but a portrait of what happened in the middle of the Leon band, where moving tens of kilometres barely changed the figures on paper.
