In a province whose worst record stops at 13.4%, that first place counts for a great deal, though it remains a climate average rather than a description of that particular evening.

Add 105 seconds of total phase, from 20:29:03 to 20:30:48, and 8.1 degrees of clearance against the western terrain, and the result was 84.7 points: the second best index in all of Spain, beaten only by Torreblanca, on the Castellón coast, which traded twenty kilometres of band for nine more points of clear sky and a horizon margin four times tighter. At 901 metres and 52 kilometres from the provincial capital, Villafruela also had a long dusk: the Sun stayed above the horizon for 49 and a half minutes after totality ended.
