The August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Palma (Illes Balears)

Palma's 66 % of clear days for 12 August sits just three points below the Balearic maximum, and the municipality also had 96 seconds of totality, among the ten best in the islands. Even so the index placed it 22nd of the 67 Balearic municipalities inside the band, on 73.7 points, because its horizon margin towards the west came to only 1.3 degrees.
