The August 12, 2026 total solar eclipse in Ejulve (Teruel)

Ejulve was the highest and the longest of the leading Teruel group: 1,233 metres of altitude and 1m 41s of total phase, enough to place it 32nd in the province for duration when its four podium companions ranged between 66th and 114th. That altitude cost it the climate chapter, though. Its 57.3 % of clear days is the weakest of the top five, and the mean maximum temperature for the date, 27.4 degrees, sits almost three below Oliete's or Alcaine's. In exchange, its entire neighbourhood enjoyed generous horizons: La Zoma, Molinos, Gargallo and Villarluengo all fell between 4.3 and 5.1 degrees of margin, so the choice of vantage point mattered less here than in other corners of the province. The percentages come from the 1996-2025 series and describe the usual climate of 12 August, not the sky of that day. The total phase opened at 20:30:06 and closed at 20:31:47, and the mean minimum for the date, 14.6 degrees, is the coolest of the Teruel group.
